About RUF
So what is "RUF" anyway?

People often ask this question. Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) to students of all denominations and backgrounds. Although RUF receives oversight from the PCA, a broad cross-section of students with varying beliefs attend our weekly group Bible studies.
"But why 'Reformed'? What does that mean?"
The label "reformed" refers to the Protestant reformation. This means simply that we hold to the historic teachings of Christianity, which entail at least three themes that make up the heart of who we are as RUF.
1. We believe that the Bible is God's Word.
2. We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace received by faith alone.
3. We believe that Christ is the Sovereign Lord over all of life.
These are just small statements about what we believe, but they have profound implications for students in the college environment and afterward in the rest of their lives. Simply put, we want to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve. We do this three main avenues: large group Bible studies, small group Bible studies, one-on-one meetings, all centered around God's Word, the Gospel of Grace, and the Lordship of Christ.
